The Talk

I finally had a chance to give my talk on testing and at least on of the programmers
let me know that he was happy I was there. Frankly, I think I need to rework parts of the talk to better "sell" testing. I didn't think I was going to be giving the talk at the end of my stay. It was supposed to be near the beginning and then I was going to work one-on-one with programmers to teach them how to test. It didn't happen and now I think they're probably not going to do any software testing as a result.

I'm looking forward to getting home, though I have to admit that, under the right circumstances, I could see myself living here in Vermont. I just wish Burlington was larger so there would be more things to do and I wouldn't have to worry about job security. However, Portland works out nicely and short of a chance to move back to Europe, I think it's home.
