By this time tomorrow, I will be sitting on a plane, flying out to Burlington, Vermont. Burlington's temperatures are running about 20 degrees lower than Portland's, so I'm looking forward to skipping a couple of weeks of the Portland heat wave.
I have a couple of presentations for them as a start for some training. I'll be introducing them to automated software testing and hopefully will be able to convince them to start using Object-Relational mappers (or something comparable) to better manage their database programs. I'll be spending the rest of the time just programming. I wish I had thought to throw together an introductory tutorial on Template Toolkit, but that will have to wait.
While I'm there, I'll keep y'all posted on how cool (or uncool) Vermont is.
